Shorn of blond tresses
before execution,
little wo(e)man,
with wires that go
to the heart of the matter,
your bowling ball
head with ear holes
to put fingers in
to knock them pins down
one, two, three strikes,
you are out
of the old ball
games of life,
bit by bit.
They say it's God's will
to won't and can't you to death,
but they'll pray for you
with their eyes closed,
so they won't have to watch you
lose vision,
hearing,
feeling,
function,
throw in pain,
paralysis,
numbness
loss of
balance,
continence,
sexual feeling--
M)urder S)uite disjunctive
for innocent lambs and limbs--
life's curve balls
they (d/w)on't see.
